    母亲，您终于走完了平凡的一生。
    
    您从白洋淀的一个普通妇女，把一生献给了我爸及五个子女。就是在我爸参军抗日渺无音信及文革我爸被关押期间，您从未被打垮过！是您带着我的三个姐姐度过了生活中最艰难的时刻！
    
    您放心的去吧，在天国把我爸照顾好。我们兄弟姐妹会互相照顾，把后代们教育好。您和我爸放心吧！

    My father was born in a village in Hebei Province in 1921, where used to be a base for resisting-Japanese. He was the youngest one among his three brothers. At his age of 16, he left his hometown to joined Red Army led by communist party of China. Once he was injured in the battle in 1947 he was sent to his hometown. At the same year his first child, my elder sister, was born in the village. Two years after, he migrated his home to Beijing at the eve of foundation of Peoples Republic of China under the arrangement of the local government. As a senior member of China communist party, he was sent to school to study first, and then he was nominated as the chairman of workers committee to set up the first building company in Beijing. During his several decade years career he dedicated his whole passion to the company and a spirit he sought. Unlike most senior leaders he has never used the companys car for his family things and never accepted the free apartment from the government. After he retired at his age of 60, he founded his own building company and didnt stop work until he got badly injured in a traffic accident. During the period of his old age(1992~1999) he suffered from apoplexy and finally passed away with the heart-attack. He should have lived much longer than 78y, for gene of long life existed in his family. His two brothers age all exceed 80y, one of whom is still alive in Beijing. Once he was put in secret prison for 14 months during the movement of Cultural Revolution, during which many seniors were tortured to dead including the first President of China, and he was charged of betraying to the party. Finally he was released with innocency. Unfortunately my fathers health was destroyed in this period. In the following years, diabetes, coronary heart disease and many others continually attacked him, however my father had been keeping the attitude of optimism and always taught us to love this "wild country". I am proud of having such a great father. Every nice memory seems just to happen yesterday.
